Dr. Megan Zare
Division Head of Thoracic Imaging
Dr. Megan Zare is double board certified in Diagnostic Radiology and Nuclear Medicine. She received her medical degree from Tehran University of Medical Sciences followed by two residencies; one in Diagnostic Radiology at the Tehran University of Medical Sciences in Tehran, Iran, and another in Nuclear Medicine residency at the University of Washington. She has completed four fellowships in various subspecialties including, Thoracic Imaging at UCLA, Body imaging at UCLA, Pediatric Radiology at the University of Washington, PET/CT fellowship/Acting Instructor at the University of Washington.
Dr. Zare has multiple awards, accomplishments and has been published many times. In her spare time she enjoys fine art painting, playing piano, poetry and yoga.
