I went in for an Ultrasound to see if I had a blood clot in my leg. By the time I got the results it was 5:00 PM. They could not get a hold of my Dr. and advised me to go to the ER. While in ER they did a CT scan and found I had a Pulmonary Embolism in my lungs. They told me I had a saddle clot (the worst kind) and that I am lucky my lung didn’t collapse and I didn’t have a stroke or a heart attack! I truly believe your techs saved my life by advising me to go to the ER! Thank you!

No, adding Calcium Score+ does not change your CT exam. It uses the same images captured during your scheduled scan and applies advanced AI analysis after the exam is complete to generate additional insights and enhanced results.
Calcium Score+ heart health insights can be added to any non-contrast chest CT, including standard Coronary Calcium Score scans for an additional layer of precision measuring calcified plaque in your coronary arteries, and an enhanced digital report experience.
No. There is no additional scan time and no additional radiation. The enhanced report is created after your CT is complete using the images already captured during your exam.
You can add Calcium Score+ to qualifying CT exams during scheduling or at check-in for your CT appointment. Let our team know if you have any questions.
Calcium Score+ is available for $50. This optional enhancement is not currently covered by insurance, but HSA and FSA funds may be used. The cost is in addition to any charges associated with your CT exam.
No new referral is required. You can choose to add Calcium Score+ during scheduling or acheck-in for qualifying CT exams.
Calcium Score+ heart health results are delivered directly to you through SimonMed’s Digital Health Platform—a secure, interactive mobile experience with easy-to-understand results, a personalized action plan, and support with recommended next steps. Your referring provider will also receive the standard radiology report for your CT exam.
