Who should receive a mammogram?
Mammograms give you the power to take control of your breast health, often spotting changes before any symptoms appear. Routine screening is recommended for most people, whether your risk is average or higher—but your personal health journey is unique, so it’s always worth talking with your healthcare provider about what’s right for you.
Your mammogram, your choice
At SimonMed, we’re committed to bringing you the latest technology. We actively seek out innovations—like advanced artificial intelligence—to help you take control of your health.
*HSA and FSA eligible services. Insurance coverage is not yet available for Mammogram+ and Mammogram+ Heart, as is common with many new technologies.
Mammogram
What’s Included:
- Our AI-enhanced 3D mammograms deliver clear, detailed images that can catch breast cancer early—so you can act fast and stay confident.
A 3D Mammogram takes up to 400 images of your breast (compared to 4 images in a 2D Mammogram) from different angles to create a detailed, three-dimensional view.
3D Mammogram
Artificial Intelligence (AI) quickly analyzes each image to detect malignant soft tissue densities, calcifications, and Breast Arterial Calcifications (BAC). This helps our radiologists find more cancers—earlier, more accurately, and with fewer unnecessary recalls.
Advanced AI Technologies
As breast density increases, the risk of developing and missing breast cancer increases. Your Breast Density Notification will say if your breast tissue is “dense” or “not dense”.

Mammogram+
What’s Included:
- The most advanced mammogram available. Mammogram+ is the first mammogram to use two advanced AIs to detect subtle signs of cancer even earlier.

Yes, but additional imaging views may be needed to ensure a complete evaluation.
During your 3D mammogram, you will stand in front of the machine while a technologist positions your breast on a flat platform. A compression paddle will gently press your breast to spread out the tissue, ensuring clear images. The machine will take multiple low-dose X-ray images from different angles, creating a detailed, 3D view of your breast tissue. The entire process takes about 15 to 30 minutes.
No, adding these additional insights to your exam will not take any more time during your appointment.
